Yardi earned the award for Best Technology
in the Real Estate Transaction category for pioneering an integrated solution
that promotes sustainability. Yardi and partners rCash, SiteStuff, Inc., Cambridge Solutions Ltd., and Bank of
America successfully integrated procurement and invoice processing systems to
help their joint client CB
Richard Ellis develop an interconnected, paperless processing flow. The
project is part of CBRE's "Planet Building" initiative that aims to improve
operational sustainability and efficiency and make the nearly 2 billion square
feet of commercial real estate under CBRE management carbon-neutral by 2010.

Company founder Anant Yardi accepted a framed proclamation from Assemblyman
Pedro Nava, which characterized Yardi Systems as an exemplary small business
that "empowers, encourages, and challenges its employees to work to their

philanthropic efforts to advance humanitarian causes.

Mark Livanec, Director, Affordable Housing and PHA Sales, has been
awarded the "NAHMA Membership Recruitment Award" for the second year in a row.
This award is given annually to a NAHMA member who leads in new-member
recruitment for the previous 12-month period. Now in its second year, this
awards program honors individual lifetime achievement, outstanding individual
leadership in several categories, and outstanding partnership organizations.
Livanec has worked with Yardi Systems, Inc. since 1998 and is actively involved
in NAHMA, regional AHMAs, NCSHA, NLHA, CARH, NAHRO, and The Campaign for
Affordable Housing. He also maintains NCP-e, COS, and PHO industry
certifications.
Professional Appreciation Award
Residential Information and
Transactions Standards (MITS), 2005
Yardi Systems received a
"Professional Appreciation Award" presented by David Cardwell of the National
Multi Housing Council (NMHC) and the residential Information and Transactions
Standards (MITS) group. The award was presented to outstanding individuals from
companies participating in the MITS initiative and was given to Tamara Berndt,
Residential Product Manager of Yardi Voyager property and asset management
software. She received the award in recognition of her leadership in, and
commitment to, the development and implementation of apartment industry data
